Ever’s ready with the energy, experience, qualifications, and commitment needed to improve the lives of educators and students in District A.”

Former CTA Board Member*

Dear CTA Family

Welcome to my campaign for Director of CTA District A! I’m excited to be building on more than 20 years of experience serving my fellow educators and our students as a CTA activist and leader.

I’m proud of my service to improve the lives of our union members and the results we’ve achieved together! In the last fifteen years, I’ve served in my rural local, the Redwood Service Center Council, the State Council of Education, the North Bay Labor Council, and the California Democratic Party.

I’ve earned the confidence of my peers by helping them achieve record results in recent bargaining. As President of the Healdsburg Area Teachers Association, I guided our members through difficult negotiations, declaration of impasse, informational picketing, and a 98% strike authorization vote. These efforts resulted in impressive annual wage increases of 6%, 8%, and 9%, respectively, from 2020 to 2023. I also led a coordinated effort amongst CTA’s 35 Sonoma County locals for 2020-21 where, together, we won an average wage increase of 5.07% for our educators countywide, while California’s statewide average teacher pay only increased by 1.57%.

In 2020, I was elected to the Santa Rosa City Schools Board in a competitive race against a long-time incumbent.

Not only am I ready to make an even more significant contribution to our union, but I also have the experience to do it from day one! I look forward to meeting you, listening to your concerns and ideas, and working together to make our union stronger.

I invite you to join my campaign today by endorsing my candidacy, making a donation, sharing my story, or rolling up your sleeves as a volunteer.

Thank you for your confidence and your vote.

¡Hasta la victoria siempre!

In unity,

Ever Flores
